XTOOL PRODIGY Functions

One-Stop ECU Programming with J2534 Device – Extended Programming Capability for Multi-Car Brands

XTOOL Prodigy equipped with J2534 device is competent for ECU Programming/ECU online coding/adaptation for BENZ/BMW/etc. cars. It can program blank ECU, adapt existing ECU, match components, reflash second-hand ECU, unlock hidden functions, etc.
When using the J2534 function, you do not need a tablet. You only need to use VCI to connect the vehicle and the PC. Currently, only wired connection is supported.
To use the J2534 function, you need to install the XTOOL driver on the PC and then install the original diagnostic software. (NOTE: We do not provide original software)

1. J2534 VCI Application Scenarios:
   J2534 devices are widely used in auto repair shops, auto manufacturers, and aftermarkets. It enables auto repair personnel to use unified equipment to diagnose and program vehicles of different brands, greatly improving work efficiency.
2. J2534 Supported Communication Protocols:
   J2534 devices support multiple communication protocols, including ISO9141, ISO14230 (KWP2000), J1850, CAN (ISO11898), ISO15765, and SAE J2610. Since 2005, it also supports the J1939 protocol.
3. Advantages of J2534 VCI:
