Basic Description

The NexLINK NL102 is a professional diagnostic scanner designed for both cars and trucks. For cars, it supports functions such as reading and erasing fault codes, displaying live data in graphical format, retrieving vehicle information, performing EVAP tests, and conducting O2 sensor tests. For trucks, it supports standard truck protocols (J1578, J1939, and J1708), enabling easy identification of fault codes related to the engine, transmission, brakes, and more—along with code erasure and live data display.

NL102 Features & Functions

1. Supports new heavy-duty trucks compliant with standard protocols (J1578, J1939, and J1708).
2. Works on nearly all cars, minivans, and light-duty vehicles (OBDII & CAN) from 1996 onward—including European, American, and Asian models.
3. Supports all OBDII protocols: CAN, J1850 PWM, J1850 VPW, ISO9141, and KWP2000.
4. Includes a unique battery power monitor function.
5. Provides troubleshooting tips to help technicians quickly identify root causes, reducing diagnosis and repair time.
6. Reads and erases generic codes (P0, P2, P3, and U0), manufacturer-specific codes (P1, P3, and U1), and pending codes.
7. Helps determine the cause of the Check engine Light (MIL), turn it off, clear trouble codes, and reset monitors.
8. Displays DTC definitions, freeze frame data, monitor and I/M readiness status (emissions), and vehicle information (VIN, CIN, and CVN).
9. Reads, stores, and replays live O2 sensor test data.
10. Reads PCM live data stream with graphical data display.
