Description:

The Toyota Flasher, a joint project by Autokey and P.C.M.flash, is a multipurpose programmer designed for Denso and Fujitsu Ten ECUs equipped with NEC processors. It supports Toyota, Lexus, and Scion vehicles with both petrol and diesel engines via the JTAG interface. OBD writing through the CAN bus is also supported. This tool offers a unique solution in the chip tuning industry and covers nearly all vehicle models from 2003–2004 onward. When connected to the appropriate connector on the ECU circuit board, it can read, flash, clear, and verify the internal flash memory of microcontrollers.

Features include saving in normal mode without master-slave dependency, master-only operation, and automatic checksum correction support. These processors were introduced at the onset of CAN bus implementation and typically coincide with major coachwork changes.
